Dawson High School PTA is back at it for our 3rd annual Dawson Dash 5k & 1k — a highly successful community spirit event, fundraiser, and health and fitness promotion.  The race will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Dawson High School.  Post-race activities will be held will be held inside the basketball court which will include food, sponsor tents, and more.  Students, parents, faculty, and the entire Pearland community are invited to participate and run or partake in the neighborhood festivities to cheer on the participants.  The event will begin at 8:30a.m. The course will take you on a scenic route of the school as you will run around the lake, and run-on different terrains from pavement to grassy fields.  Medals will be awarded to all participants.

AWARDS will be given to 5K first-place male and female winners in each age group (13-19, 20-34, 35-49, 50-64, 65+)! Our young runners (12 and under) winners will receive an adorable custom DHS Dawson Dash Pumpkin.

VOLUNTEER!

We need VOLUNTEERS to help at the DAWSON DASH on Saturday morning (Nov. 16) from

7am SHARP to 10am at Dawson. Help setup, chalk the walk area, direct participants with signs,
